Center of Excellence in Computational Intelligence

Computational Intelligence is the ability of a computer to learn a specific task from data or experimental observation. Generally, computational intelligence is a set of nature-inspired computational methodologies and approaches to address complex real-world problems to which mathematical or traditional modeling can be useless for a few reasons: the processes might be too complex for mathematical reasoning, it might contain some uncertainties during the process, or the process might simply be stochastic in nature.
VISION
  • Provide breakthrough solutions with the use of Computational Intelligence in varied domains
  • Application oriented R&D and innovation jointly with industry
MISSION
  • Capacity building through training and application development
  • Create synergy among Academia and industry for advancement in knowledge related to Computational Intelligence
  • Address technical challenges faced by students
OBJECTIVES
  • To encourage Research Publications, Patents/IPR and Funded Projects
  • Collaborate with R&D organizations to acquire and disseminate knowledge among stakeholders
  • To provide platform for BE projects groups to solve real life problems
