Empowering the Next Generation of Cyber Defenders

PROTECT DETECT SECURE

The Cybersecurity Club in the Department of Artificial Intelligence & Data Science (AI&DS) was established in 2025 and inaugurated on February 3, inspired by MCCIA’s (Mahratta Chamber of Commerce, Industries, and Agriculture) vision. The club aims to enhance awareness and expertise in cybersecurity, a critical field in today’s digital era.

It provides a platform for students to develop skills in ethical hacking, cryptography, network security, and threat intelligence. Through hands-on workshops, hackathons, and Capture The Flag (CTF) challenges, members gain practical experience in tackling cybersecurity threats. The club also fosters collaboration, encouraging research and innovation in security solutions.

Additionally, industry interactions and expert talks keep students updated on advancements and career opportunities. By promoting continuous learning and security awareness, the club equips students with essential skills to thrive in the ever-evolving cybersecurity domain.

Aim

The Cybersecurity Club equips students with practical skills in ethical hacking, cryptography, and network security while enhancing awareness of evolving cyber threats. Through workshops, hackathons, and industry collaborations, it offers hands-on learning, career insights, and research opportunities. By fostering a culture of continuous learning and problem-solving, the club prepares students to tackle real-world cybersecurity challenges effectively
