The M.Tech in Computer Engineering program aims to develop highly skilled professionals equipped with advanced technical expertise and a deep understanding of the principles of computer engineering.The curriculum focuses on enhancing students’ expertise in essential areas such as algorithms, computer vision, networking, software engineering, natural language processing, and embedded systems. Additionally, the program promotes research skills and innovation across various domains, equipping students to actively contribute to technological progress.

Program Educational Objectives (PEOs)

PEO1: To prepare globally competent post graduates having strong domain knowledge and updated with modern technology to provide effective solutions for engineering problems.
PEO2: To prepare the post graduates to work as committed professionals with strong professional ethics and values, sense of responsibilities, understanding of legal, safety, health, societal, cultural, and environmental issues.
PEO3:To prepare motivated post graduates with research attitude, lifelong learning, investigative approach, and multidisciplinary thinking.
PEO3:To prepare the post graduates with strong managerial and communication skills to work effectively as individuals as well as in teams.

Programme Outcomes (POs)

An ability to independently carry out research /investigation and development work to solve practical problems.
An ability to write and present a substantial technical report/document.
Students should be able to demonstrate a degree of mastery over the area as per the specialization of the program. The mastery should be at a level higher than the requirements in the appropriate bachelor program.

A post graduate of the Computer Engineering Program will demonstrate :

Professional Skills-The ability to understand, analyze and develop software in the areas related to networking, system software, multimedia, web design, big data analytics, and algorithms for efficient design of computer-based systems of varying degrees. .
Problem-Solving Skills- The ability to apply standard practices and strategies in software project development using open-ended programming environments to deliver a quality product for business success. .
Successful Career and Entrepreneurship- The ability to employ modern computer languages, environments, and platforms in creating innovative career paths to be an entrepreneur, and a zest for research.
