- From November 2024 to February 2025, I had an amazing opportunity to conduct a Big Data Analytics & Cloud Computing training program at NITA, Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The participants were fresh recruits from Aramco, Accenture, and Wipro—new to the industry but eager to explore the world of Big Data and Cloud Computing.
- Over the months, we built a strong foundation in:
Hadoop & Spark – understanding how big data is processed and analyzed
MongoDB & Redis – exploring the NoSQL databases for real world applications
OpenStack & AWS – getting hands-on with cloud infrastructure basics- What made this experience truly special was seeing the enthusiasm and growth of the participants. Learning these technologies can feel overwhelming at first, but through hands-on sessions, real-world problem-solving, and lots of interactive discussions, they gained confidence and practical skills. Watching them transition from uncertainty to “I got this!” moments were the most fulfilling part of the journey.
- This experience also reinforced my belief that effective learning isn’t just about knowledge—it’s about application, curiosity, and mentorship. As technology keeps evolving, so must our approach to teaching and learning.
- A huge thank you to MMCOE, for their support in enabling me to take on such opportunities. It’s because of such encouragement that I get to contribute beyond the classroom and help shape future tech professionals.
- This experience reinforced a simple truth—learning is never one-sided. While I was there to teach, I also learned a lot from the fresh perspectives and enthusiasm of the participants. It’s always rewarding to see new talent step into the tech world with curiosity and confidence. Wishing them all the best as they embark on their journey in tech!
