Home » AI, Collaboration, and Global Summit: MMCOE on the World Stage
Attending the India AI Impact Summit 2026 at Bharat Mandapam, Delhi was a defining professional milestone for us. Representing the Department of Computer Engineering at Marathwada Mitra Mandal’s College of Engineering (MMCOE), Pune, on a global platform endorsed by nearly 80 countries felt both impactful and purposeful. The theme, “AI for All – Bahujan Sukhay, Bahujan Hitay,” reflected a powerful commitment to inclusive innovation. The summit brought together policymakers, global delegates, researchers, startups, and tech leaders, presenting a fully integrated AI ecosystem from infrastructure and research to services, platforms, and real-world applications.

Shaping the Future of AI: MMCOE’s Defining Moment in Delhi
Following the vision articulated by Electronics & IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnav reinforced India’s focus on secure, indigenous, and globally competitive AI systems. Listening to Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google and Alphabet, speak about responsible AI and India’s role in shaping the global developer ecosystem was equally inspiring. It was dream come true. The announcement of the PAXSILLICA agreement between India and the United States highlighted how central, AI has become to global strategy and diplomacy. Sessions on sustainability, green AI infrastructure, cybersecurity, and the launch by Sarvam AI further demonstrated India’s transition from AI adoption to AI innovation.
Most importantly, our visit went beyond observation it was collaborative and strategic. As a team, we explored multiple expo halls, engaged with government representatives, startup founders, infrastructure providers, and industry leaders, and initiated discussions around internships, live industry problem statements, joint research, and academic–industry partnerships for MMCOE. The experience strengthened our industry connect and translated into tangible opportunities for our students and department. We sincerely express our gratitude to the Hon’ble Management of MMCOE for their unwavering support in enabling such transformative exposure. The India AI Impact Summit 2026 was not just an event we attended; it was an opportunity we leveraged together to elevate our academic and innovation ecosystem.
