ACM: Association of Computing Machinery (ACM-SC)
ACM Students’ Chapter was inaugurated on 3rd August 2015 by Mr. Shekhar Sahasrabudhe (Chief Operating Officer for ACM India), Dr. Abhijat Vichare (Chair, ACM Pune professional chapter), Dr. Arati Dixit (Vice chair, ACM Pune professional chapter). Total 16 students and 1 faculty have registered for membership of ACM.
Mission:
Our main focus has been on holding numerous events which are to spread computing and technical knowledge at the undergraduate level. The chapter aims at creating interest among the students in computer science apart from what they learn during the course work.
The chapter will organise seminars and workshops on different domains by speakers who are well-known in their area. These talks will give students opportunities to learn about advanced research subjects.

Hacksprint 4.0 hackathon was conducted in offline mode by ACM Student Chapter & ISTE Student Chapter, prizes up to 35k from 14/10/2022 to 15/10/2022
Mr.Kunal Raut , Software Development Engineer 1 at Amazon, delivered a session on “International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) Awareness and Guidance on 27/08/2022

Competitive Coding Competition, Synertech 3.0 was conducted in offline mode by ACM Student Chapter on 5/3/2022
Dr. Federico Cerutti, University of Brescia (Italy) delivered a session on "Artificial Intelligence for Cyber Threat Intelligence Analysis" under ACM Distinguished Speaker Program on 18/10/2021
Ms. Dharya Gangwani, conducted session on Resume Building and techniques to secure Internship under ACM Student Chapter on 25/9/2021
Hacksprint 3.0 hackathon was conducted in online mode by ACM Student Chapter & ISTE Student Chapter from 08/10/2021 to 10/10/2021
A national level technical competition “Synertech 2.0” was conducted on HackerEarth on 30/05/2021. There were 2 rounds, MCQs and Coding respectively. Winners were given a prize of 1000,750 and 500.
Hands-on Latex report writing workshop was conducted by expert Dr. Chandrakant Sonawane from 9/03/2021 -12/03/2021.
An introductory machine learning workshop “ML.py” by Mr. Rocky Jagtiani, Head Suven consultants and AICTE faculty trainer was held from 8/02/2021 to 11/02/2021. The students developed a recommendation system for movies.
A full stack web development workshop (MERN stack) “WeBuild” by international mentors Mr. David Rakosi and Mr. Rishi Patel. Workshop was held from 20/10/2020 to 22/10/2020.
Mr.Sarvesh Pathak, AWS Educate Student Ambassador, delivered a webinar on the topic “AWS Educate Student” on 04/08/2020 to prepare students for job opportunities in Cloud Computing. The webinar was organized for all the students of MMCOE.
HackSprint 2.0 a national level hackathon with participants from 8 different states and prizes up to 50k was held from 24/09/2020 to 26/09/2020
A Webinar on Real Time Applications of Data Science & Big Data Analytics was held on 02/05/2020 by Mr. Akshay Chougle, (Senior Data Science Engineer, Medidata Solutions, USA).
